Can I receive calls or messages on my hotspot

Your hotspot is not a smartphone, so you won’t be able to receive calls or texts directly on it. It is only meant to deliver WiFi.

But, there are plenty of apps that allow you to call and text using your hotspot and a phone.

Some of these services are Skype, Viber, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp.
